Parents of third graders encourage students at the beginning of school for state tests

On Tuesday, April 16, 2019, a few parents of third grade students took the time to encourage all the third graders with teachers as they prepare to take their state assessment on this morning.

The parents showed up at school at 7:15 to give encouraging words, hugs, and treats to the students that needed an additional breakfast snack before testing.

"We are thankful for our parents who came out to encourage and inspire our 3rd graders on this MAAP test morning", shared Principal Letonia Johnson.

"Thanks for all your support! I think our kiddos are ready!"

Testing will continue the next few weeks as we test all our students. For more information regarding when students will test, please click here for testing details.
