MES is thankful to all our family and community members who took time to read to our kiddos, especially during the MES Reading Bowl 2019 on Friday.
MES Reading Bowl 2019 Champions:
Kindergarten - Mrs. Vanlandingham (49 books read)
1st Grade - Mrs. Goree (194 AR quizzes passed)
2nd Grade - Ms. Thompson (272 AR quizzes passed)

These kiddos are shining with their Positive Office Referrals! Jodie Crapps and Madisyn Bowie (left and center; bottom) worked diligently on their Exact Path and showed growth. Braxton Lucroy (right; bottom) has been focused and working away for Mrs. Christy. Kaylee Vaughn (top right) is in the spotlight for displaying honesty. Jacob James (top left) has made a turn around in Kindergarten and now has an outstanding attitude. Way to go, kiddos!

These students received Positive Office Referrals for giving to others, being a friend, working hard, and having great attitudes. Way to go!! Congratulations!!!

The Scott County School District held its 3rd annual Fall Festival on October 25, 2018 at the Forest-Scott County Coliseum. This event strives to provide a fun night of literacy, games, food, and community outreach.

Morton Elem, Morton High, BMJ Middle Schools closed on Friday 11/16/2018

This month Morton Upper Elementary is raising awareness on the prevention of bullying among its 3rd & 4th grade students. To raise awareness, the school has activities planned throughout the month.

Throughout the week of October 1-5, Morton Elementary School has been showing that "we got game" as we celebrate Homecoming Week 2018.
